I’ve got a 2006 JetForce C-Tech and recently ran into an issue where it just won’t start. The starter motor cranks, but the engine doesn’t fire up. I’ve checked the battery..it’s fully charged. Swapped in a new spark plug, but still no luck.
Some folks suggested it could be the CDI unit or maybe a fuel delivery problem. Before I start buying parts blindly, I wanted to ask if anyone here has faced a similar issue? Is there a way to test the CDI or coil without specialized tools?
I’m learning a lot by working on this scooter in my free time, especially while I’m preparing for my JIRA Certification for work. Totally different worlds, I know..but both require patience and problem-solving!
If anyone has a wiring diagram, troubleshooting steps, or tips specific to the C-Tech model, I’d really appreciate it. Would love to get it running again without going straight to a mechanic.
