Ecu tuning

Hey!

I'm new in this forum, and as you can see my german isnt very good.

I've tried to search the forum for how to remap,tune,change the ECU in the Jetforce. My Peugeot dealer has changed the ECU once, to the "Free" mode. However, this mode is not "free" its "max 80kmh". I want "full" power. There must be some way to tune the ECU. My previous bike, Speedfight 2, did about 75-80kmh, and that one had 1HP less than the Jetforce!

Do anyone have information about how to tune the ECU in the Jetforce?

If you're not comfortable with answering in english, take it in german, or whatever, but please use "proper" language so that i can translate.

Hi , what do you mean with ECU. Is that a thing, which stopped the power of the Jet Force? When yes, you can not erase that thing. When you want to erase this, you must have very good contacts to a Peugeot man!

The ECU is the Electronic Control Unit, it basically says how much fuel/air the enging should get..

Jetty50, what do you mean with "the Speedcontrol"?

One thing is, that you can remove the distance ring.

Och Leute der hat schon alles entdrosselt, aber sein jetty fährt trotzdem nur 80. Deswegen will er mehr power durch ECU Tuning.

Maybe you can go to special tuning company that can tune cars ECUs (every car has one thats why they all should know how to tune an ECU.)
and perhabs they can tune the Jetforce's ECu too.

Something like chiptuning you know, you just have to ask if they can tune a scooter ECU too.

Yeah, I've thought of that, but it seems that the ECU is encryp, just so that no one can do so..

kd Jettt, What do you mean with the "distance ring"..

But ive read, that you should, with the right equipment, be able to use a gameboy and tune the ECU by your self..

Anyone?

Yes thats right but you arent able to buy a gameboy and tune the ECU but you can ask your peugeot motorcycles shop for tuning the ECU !

You could also buy the new Malossi zylinder, there´s a new tuning ECU included.

@JetforceTSDI: Speedcontrol is a variomatik http://www.racing-parts.nl/catalog/images/ag-1001.jpg

A distance ring is in the original variomatik and it makes your scotter slower.

Ok, yeah, my Peugeot dealer has already 'tuned' the ECU for me, he said that the ECU is in 'free' mode. He also removed the distance ring for me.

I've looked at the Malossi Kit. But can the ECU that comes with the Malossi 70cc be used on the original (50cc) ? Because i do not want to change to 70cc.

No you can't use the malossi ECU on 50cc because it injects more fuel, because it s made for 70cc Zylinders which need more fuel.

mmh, thats what i thought..

See here's the thing, a unrestricted Speedfight2 will make around 80-90kmh! And As far as i know, the only restrictions in the Jetforce are in the ECU and the variomatic. So why does the jetforce only reach 80kmh when "unrestricted"... ???

Is there any restrictions in the exaust pipe?

The JetForce weighs alot more then a speedfight. so more power but also more weight. That's one problem of the jetforce
