    • Dear Jet Force Pilots!

I hope you all have some spare time to read my (frustrating) story and, please, help me, I've run out of tricks!

First of all I would like to apologize for not speaking the German language, I really try to read it, but if I would try to write it you would all go crazy and try to kill me... :P I read around a bit on the forum, but couldn't find any related problems, although I think they are definately around, but I simply don't see them due to my bad German :P... I think I've tried almost everything I could, but still I'm having problems which I can't fix. I've tried many forums, tuners and dealers and to be honoust, you guys are my last hope...

About a month ago I bought myself the Malossi 70cc kit, brand new from the store. Never had probs with the 50cc, but got sick of being the slowest in my gang :P. I was told that 50cc injection engines also work with the 70cc ECU, due to the poor mixture of fuel through air used by the 50cc program. When I mounted the ECU I noticed my accelaration had increased and my top speed was about 72-75 km an hour (just a bit higher than with 50cc ECU). When I tried to hit the full gas, there was no power anymore and I heard 'FLATSH' sounds from my exhaust pipe.

      Solution: Fit entire 70cc kit!
New problem: performance remains exactly the same.

I fitted the entire 70cc kit and guess what, the problem remained exactly the same (seems to get drowned in fuel). My speed didn't increase a single km and I didn't have any more accelaration than with the 50cc engine + 70cc ECU. I started questioning whether my airbox was dead, which I was using for 10.000km already.

Solution: New airbox, since you can't open it.
New problem: Still seems to get drowned at maximum throttle @ 8500+ rpm.

I fitted the new airbox and instantly noticed the enormous increase of accelaration compared to what I was used to! I can now use the full throttle during accelaration, but when I hit the 8500 rpm, 8000 when its cold, I loose power. The rpm drops a bit and I have power again, or I release the throttle a bit to make sure I don't loose the power. This prevents me from reaching max speeds and riding comfortable... I even enlarged the intakeshaft on the airbox, but noticed no difference.

Solution: spark plugs & full engine diagnose.

I've checked my whole engine, took everything apart again and everything was fine. Not even a single drop of sludge, everything in perfect shape. The spark plug (NGK CPR8E) was deep black, so I removed it. I guessed the spark plug would get wet by getting hit by the fuel coming from the injector, so plugged in the NGK CR8E, which is a little shorter thus being deeper in the shaft and catching less fuel over it. With this spark plug, the rpm meter was very instable and the problem only got worse. Removed this spark plug and plugged in the CPR8E again, it went back to were I was. Tried a new CPR8E, this worked out positive and negative: I was able to ride at max throttle with only losing power every 5 sec or so, but my accelaration decreased about 30~40% and the rpm meter was very instable again. Power loss only occured from 9300+ rpm.

With that I would like to add that, when I take the wind in the back and ride down a hill or something to make it easier, I build up quite some more speed than my usual 75 km/ph (even hit 95 once). When I release the throttle for a second after a demanding period and re-open it, the power loss occurs at 6000 rpm already, for 2-3 times a second...

I've spent near 1000 Euro on this problem only now and shitloads of time... The kit has 2500 km of working now, I'm still using the standard exhaust, but since it isn't restricted by any means that shouldn't make a problem. I use Shell V-Power as fuel, which is advised by Malossi. I also use the proper oil. (and is the reason why I havent got any sludge for 12500 km)

If someone can help me... You'll make my life way better :D Man, I'll buy you a pie!

Thanks guys, I hope to hear from you!
    • Hi :)

Your whole story sounds very strange... what ran the JetForce befor you installed the 70ccm Malossi ECU ? 72km/h ?
Normally he has to run about 85km/h with the Malossi ECU...
Perhaps you should change your exhaust.
Did you buy only the ECu or the 70ccm-Engine, too?

      Sorry for my English :D

@all: Irgendwer hatte doch auch mal die 70er ECU auf dem Orizyl gefahren, oder?!

    • Thanks a lot for your reply!

I bought the whole kit (added pic), but initially I only installed the Malossi ECU. When that didn't work properly, I installed all parts including the 70ccm-engine.

The Jet Force ran about 70km/ph before I used anything of the kit.

The point of the exhaust pipe is that there are no restrictions in it and according to multiple tuners and dealers it shouldn't cause any problem. Besides, since the situation is getting really hopeless, I don't want to spend another 250 euro and work on an exhaust pipe that won't fix the problem...

Does anyone of you have experience with this situation?
